Job Description

Provider must have experience treating adults and pediatrics (6 months+) and must be able to handle high volume patient care while maintaining a positive attitude that embodies FastMed’s culture of providing high quality health care in our communities.

Please review document labeled “FastMed – Locum Agency Instructions & Guidelines – READ FIRST.pdf ” under FastMed Required Forms after bid. This document highlights what will be required including credentialing requirements.

1. Please specify level of proficiency with EPIC, Provider will be required to use Epic
2. Provider must be able to see and treat all patients as the sole provider in the Center
3. Provider should have good soft skills as they will be one on one with support staff and each patient
4. HCO relies on Agency’s credentialing of each provider, HCO will process Medicare Enrollment only
5. Once Bid vetted, Clinical Interview will be setup – if approved – Provider must provide all credentialing requirements before being scheduled. Once all credentialing requirements are received, Provider Relations Specialist will schedule onboarding/training and ongoing shift coverage.

Procedures: I&D, Lac repair, Ear irrigation, other minor procedures
Patient Ages: Adult and Pediatric Patients, All ages – 6 months and up
PPD: up to 60 ppd – depends on site (average for this site is 40)
EMR/Charting: Y, Epic w/ modified training schedule, will need to use EMR for all visits.
Call Requirements: No
Supervision Requirements: No / HCO will provide Supervising Physician for locum APPs

Travel + Lodging: Not Eligible for travel reimbursement, mileage only

Multiple locations needing support and ask candidates for support within a 60 mile radius cap surrounding their home residents if available.

Interview Process: Provider must pass a clinical screening. Once passed, provider must go through EMR training and onboarding prior to first shift solo. Training is a REQUIREMENT – and occur on set Wednesdays. Provider MUST be able to participate.
