LOCUM – Gastroenterology
Schedule:
– Weekday Clinic & Night Call: 730-330pm (St. Joseph) or 740-340pm (Redwood) then night call from 5pm-730 or 740 the next day (as listed on the confirmed shift in Locumsmart). These shifts would be billed as follows: clinic work and any calls during the 8 hour shift would be paid at the regular hourly rate (730-330 or 740-340). Then they would be paid the night call rate and any call back.
– Weekend call is 24hr coverage.
– There will be a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch on the weekdays
Office days will be from 8am-5pm with an hour lunch.
Procedures usually take between 30 minutes to an hour.
They will need shifts covered starting May onward. Privileging will take a few months. Specific shifts will be determined during prior to the confirmation of the provider. Please include provider availability on presentation.
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
ERCP REQUIRED
FLURO REQUIRED -We will look at temp fluro licenses for this position, noting that the provider will have to get the permanent fluro a year from when their temp is issued.
ACTIVE CA license and DEA
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency required.
ENSURE THAT BIDS REFLECT THE BELOW:
– Guaranteed Hours: 8 per day
– OT to apply after 9 hours per day
All OT should be preapproved by your clinic manager (Hilary Schuler). Please seek preapproval via text with Hilary. If you have any questions, please escalate to the PSJH admin team.
Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.
o All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
o Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
o Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
